One of the features of Snapchat are Community Filters or Geofilters. Snapchatters have to be near the specific location to use these graphical filters that you can place over your pictures or video posts. They are for the most part images that are meaningful to you and your community, like parks, cities, neighborhoods, landmarks, and more.

Mattapan, a Boston neighborhood, is the area I grew up and where some of my family still resides. I often visit my old neighborhood, and because it did not already have a Snapchat Geofilter, I decided to create one. The illustration is now active and is being used countless times by Snapchatters in the area demonstrating their neighborhood pride.
